This Privacy Policy explains how the Morning Check mobile application (the "App") handles your data and device permissions. The App adopts a simple and transparent approach: it does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data.

The App does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following personal or sensitive data:

- Phone number
- Postal address
- Location

- Photos and videos
- Audio recordings
- Contacts list
- Usage behavior
- Advertising ID
- Device ID
No data is sent to the developer or to any third party. The App has no accounts, no login system, no cloud database, and no backend.
2. Permissions We Request
The App requests a few device permissions so it can perform its core function. These permissions are used strictly for the purposes described below; none of this data is collected, stored, or transmitted.
Camera (face recognition)
The App works with on-device face recognition. When you use it, the camera opens live on your device to confirm that you are healthy, awake, and standing. The App never takes a photo or records a video: nothing is saved to your device or anywhere else, and nothing is sent to anyone. The camera feed is used only while the check is being performed.
Notifications
The App asks for notification permission to provide a better experience, such as reminders. Notifications are generated on your device and are not used to collect or transmit any personal data.
Contacts (to send a text message)
The App asks for access to your contacts only so you can choose the two people you want to let know that you are alive and well. Your contacts are never stored, uploaded, or shared with the developer. When you send a text message, it is sent through your device's own messaging service to the recipients you select.
3. Third-Party Services
The App does not use third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking services. No tracking or profiling technology — such as Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, advertising SDKs, or pixels — is integrated into the App. Text messages are sent through your device's built-in messaging service and are initiated only by you.
4. Data Retention
Because the App does not collect personal data from its users, it does not store personal user data. If the App creates any information locally on your device while you use it, that information stays on your own device and is not sent to the developer.
5. Data Security
Because the App does not collect personal data, no personal user data is stored or processed on the developer's side. Accordingly, risks such as data breaches, unauthorized access, or transfer of data to third parties do not apply.
6. Children's Privacy
Our app is not intended for children. The App is intended for adult users only. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
The App's target audience is not children; its content, design, and language are prepared for adult users.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Updates will be published on this page, and the "Last Updated" date at the top of the page will be changed.
